057VS Series | Safety Lock Breathing Air Venting Coupling & Plugs
The 057VS Series is a 5.5mm nominal bore VentSafe quick release coupling based on the UK standard plug profile widely used throughout the compressed air market. It provides above-average flow for its nominal bore while retaining compatibility with the standard 057 Series plug profile.
The VentSafe mechanism is incorporated into the coupling, allowing downstream pressure to vent before the plug is fully disconnected. This controlled release helps reduce hose whip and the risks associated with disconnecting a pressurised compressed air line, while allowing the same compatible plugs to be used with either standard 057 or 057VS VentSafe couplings.
